Providing excellent coach education is a key element to successful community sports coaching. In partnership with Sports Coach UK ECSport has a range of different courses available for you!

Coaching is a key part of developing all sporting participants, and helping our athletes to achieve their personal goals is the main aim.

There are many external resources that you can access one of which is the Sports Coach UK Website.

You can access all coaching courses that are available from compulsory foundation workshops to high performance word class workshops.

Living Sport's Club & Coach Development Programme has been designed for coaches, officials and club administrators, to provide maximum benefit at minimum cost.

Sportivate Programme

The Sportivate programme is part of the Play strand in Sport England's 'Places, People, Play' plans. It is a four year programme and will run from 1st April 2011 - 31st March 2015.

The overall aim of the programme is to get 300,000 'semi sporty' participants aged 14-25 years to complete weekly coaching sessions over the 4 years, with two in five (120,000) to carry on playing sport regularly.

LIVING SPORT will be accountable for the delivery of the programme for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
