Maintenance and Repair
The Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings has produced a number of useful technical notes that relate to the maintenance and repair of historic buildings. In conjunction with the Institute of Historic Building Conservation they have also produced A Stitch in Time; a useful guidefor historic building owners.
English Heritage has produced a number of guidance documents relating to Energy Efficiency and Climate Change in relation to historic buildings. They have also produced an interesting study on the Thermal Performance of Traditional Windows in conjunction with Historic Scotland and Caledonian University.
