Bulky Household Items

The Council offers a "bulky domestic refuse" collection service for items of household furniture, and white goods such as washing machines and cookers.

The Council does not undertake house clearances.

This service is chargeable at £25.00 per 3 household items and £25.00 for each fridge or freezer*. Cancellations, amendments or additions are accepted up to and including the Friday before collection. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.

Fridges & Freezers

We are able to dispose of domestic fridges and freezers for a charge of £25 per item. Unfortunately, we are unable to collect industrial fridges and freezers from businesses.

*Increased charges for fridges and freezers reflect additional handling costs resulting from the requirement to remove potentially hazardous materials prior to disposal.
