Hot Weather Advice

The Met Office has declared a Hot Weather Alert Level 2 for the East of England until 7am on Saturday which means there is a high chance that an average temperature of 30C by day and 15C overnight will occur over the next two to three days.

We are asking for people to take due care in these conditions and look out for people who may be at risk. Visit Cambridgeshire County Council’s website and NHS website for advice and what you can do to support people in your community.

For those who are concerned about dogs left in cars during hot weather please call the police on 999. Updates from the Met Office can be found on their twitter or the Met Office website.
